Camping in Yellowstone is an awesome experience but there are a few things to be careful of. Wild animals, especially females with young, are unpredictable. Keep a safe distance from all wildlife.
Other campgrounds in the park have no facilities. Re: price, I think you'll have to accept that you are entering a new, limited service, incredible, domain and be prepared for the higher price. One day for each? You can drive through Grand Teton NP, but there is quite a bit to see and to do beyond just looking at the incredibly beautiful vistas.
